RJ Island is the visionary founder of RJ Island Realty, a boutique real estate brokerage based in Saint Augustine, Florida. With a background in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA). RJ blends technical precision with strategic business insight to deliver a real estate experience defined by confidence, clarity, and thoughtful execution.

Before entering real estate, RJ built a successful career managing large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects within the railroad industry. Leading complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives strengthened his ability to problem-solve under pressure, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and maintain an unwavering commitment to excellence.

RJ's journey into real estate was deeply personal. While purchasing his first home, he encountered challenges that revealed how critical education, expectation-setting, and advocacy are during the transaction process. That experience inspired him to pursue his real estate license and build a firm centered on empowering clients through knowledge, transparency, and strategic guidance.
